In 2024, the RECOVER Initiative updated their guidelines regarding cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in veterinary medicine. This presentation discusses the updated 2024 RECOVER CPR guidelines, including preparation, patient assessment, chest compression techniques, venous access options, CPR drugs, and more. Participants will not only learn about the how’s of CPR, but also the why’s and the why not’s regarding CPR in veterinary medicine.
