On Germs: Antimicrobial Use in the Clinic; What’s My Perfect Drug Match?

This session will discuss common preventive care pathways to reduce antimicrobial use, along with tackle questions on ‘why, when & how’ as related to antimicrobial use and stewardship-and provide resources for practical incorporation into clinical management as related to dogs and cats. By the end of the session participants should feel well-equipped with expert- and evidence-based resources to assist with preventive care communication and case management (and pet-owner communication).
