Anthelmintic resistance has been described in several important parasites of dogs, including heartworms and hookworms, as well as in Dipylidium caninum tapeworms. In this presentation, information examining our current understanding of these resistant parasites will be shared. Additionally, important clinical implications, including information about diagnostic implications, treatment considerations, and potential future opportunities, will be explored.
