Information
Who doesn't love a good peanut butter nail trim? Surprisingly, a lot of pets! Distractions are an extremely valuable tool to facilitate veterinary care and handling. The most common distractions we use include treats, toys, and touch. In this workshop, we will explore the criteria for evaluating if a distraction is appropriate, how to choose the right distraction for the right pet and correct procedure, and how to change the plan if needed. Attendees will also construct a useful souvenir to take home with them!_x000D_
