Information

Hands-Free Radiography describes techniques and devices used for handling and positioning patients to minimize hospital team and patient exposure to radiation, and to provide comfort to patients while radiographs are taken. During this workshop, we will discuss safety considerations for you and your patient, practice patient positioning for diagnostic-quality images, and discuss pain management and anesthesia. We will also have a roundtable discussion about how to overcome challenges and help with implementation in your hospital. Attendees should expect to return to their hospitals prepared to implement these techniques right away.
