During this session the speaker will go over the epidemiology of resistant bacterial infections in dogs. He will also provide a synopsis of the new guidelines to the antimicrobial therapy for the treatment of canine pyoderma. In the context of the new guidelines, the author will discourse on the use of topical therapy for the treatment of canine pyoderma and how this type of treatment can benefit atopic dogs.
