Information
Not every case of acute pancreatitis requires referral or hospitalization. This session reviews current treatment strategies across the spectrum—from outpatient care to complex inpatient management—using real cases to build confidence and showcase positive outcomes in daily practice. We will explore how to tailor management plans to the individual patient, recognizing when supportive care may be sufficient and when more intensive intervention is needed. Common clinical pitfalls will be discussed, along with strategies to improve patient outcomes and client communication. By the end of this session, participants will feel more confident approaching pancreatitis cases across a wide range of clinical settings.
