Information

Spectrum of Care in veterinary medicine describes every patient journey as 'distinct yet equitably appropriate'. For each cat diagnosed with diabetes mellitus this journey will be unique, with patient-, caregiver-, and veterinary-specific factors impacting care. In this seminar we will examine these factors as they apply to feline diabetics and learn how collaborative care along a continuum can improve patient quality of life. We will consider these factors and how they impact decision-making for the patient's environmental needs, therapeutic nutrition, pharmaceuticals and disease monitoring.
