Ticks, Fleas and Vector-Borne Disease: What Test, When and for Which Pet? (Antech)

The changing global environment, and advances in veterinary diagnostic capabilities, have spotlighted One Health disease risks and appropriate clinical antimicrobial use (stewardship). Through case-based examples, speakers will discuss how past conditions surrounding infectious disease-causing pathogen risk, and testing methods, may no longer be applicable. Insights on current research, emerging pathogen risk, and practical tips on applying available diagnostic options for clinical management, will be provided, along with resources for pet-owner education/communication.
