First identified in the US in 1964, feline leukemia virus (FeLV) has been a persistent risk for cats, especially kittens. Even with efficacious vaccines available, 2% to 3% of cats in North America test positive annually. This session will review FeLV transmission, disease process, testing, and prevention, with an emphasis on the efficacy of available vaccines.
