Information
Acute pancreatitis is a common but often elusive condition in veterinary medicine. Its presentation is frequently nonspecific, which makes it challenging to recognize and easy to overlook. In this session, we will describe acute pancreatitis and review known risk factors. Identifying these risk factors is important, as it can raise clinical suspicion, prompt earlier diagnostics, and ensure the disease remains on the differential diagnosis list when evaluating patients with vague or variable clinical signs.
